Stacie Stewart Construction, Inc. dba Stewart Builders was founded by Stacie Stewart.  The company specializes in luxury, custom designs for new construction of residential and upgrade remodeling.  Custom built homes by the company range from $180,000-$1.2 million.

The Stewart Builders team has grown to six full time and two part time employees.  Together, her leadership team has more than twenty-seven years of construction experience.  Stacie stated that she feels confident in reaching her goals of success because she has a team that wants her to succeed.  They know that if she succeeds, they succeed.  The company has increased in products it offers, vendors it sub contracts and sub divisions developed.  The company also provides employment to hundreds of people involved in the service and construction industry.

Stacie credits the success of her company to maintaining a policy of keeping her customers and clients happy.  She does this by building the best high quality custom homes available at affordable prices.  She states, “It’s very important to keep your word.  Give the customer what you agreed to provide and on the schedule you agreed to provide it.”

Stacie feels strongly that her edge of adding a woman’s touch to her creations have enabled her to be successful in a male-dominated industry.  Since women basically make up 50% of the home purchase, it is advantageous to make sure the home design inside and out appeals to the female eye as well.

Stacie Stewart has established herself as a successful entrepreneur.  She is a member of the National Association of Home Builders, Home Builders Association of Fort Worth, Black Contractors Association and the Arlington African American Chamber of Commerce.  She serves on the Mechanical and Plumbing Board for the City of Arlington and a number of committees within her member organizations.  Some of her awards include: Small Business Contractor of the Year by the Minority Business Development Agency for 2006, Spring Tour of Homes Awards in 2007, Arlington Chamber of Commerce “Outstanding Small Business of the Year” award/2008, Stewart was one of eight 2008 Quest for Success award recipients honored on February 15, 2008 for their leadership, dedication to the community and business achievements.  Sponsored by the Dallas Chamber of Commerce, The Dallas Morning News, Chase Bank and WFAA-TV Channel 8.
